Mel Bowman - Salon Owner
Mel started hairdressing at just sixteen years old and qualified with her diploma within just sixteen months! This is still the record of the quickest completion of any hairdressing student in her college. It’s no surprise that Mel lives and breathes hairdressing and her ambition knows no end. She is a team player, a creative stylist, a leader and the underdog that proves any dream can come true.
Mel is a hairdressing super star with an abundance of accolades behind her including currently being a Kerastase Ambassador, a JOICO Colour Genius and Great Lengths UK Tape Extension Specialist to name a few. Known for her immaculate attention to detail and with eighteen years’ experience under her belt, Mel is our customer experience specialist.
Outside the salon Mel has worked with industry icons Jack Howard, Marc Antoni Artistic Team and Larisa Love and she never stops learning. Some of the courses Mel has completed include the Patrick Cameron Long Hair Up, Balayage courses with Jack Howard and Sevda Durukan as well as Creative Cutting and Styling with Wella and JOICO Home Care Education.

Fidan Celik
Fidan is an Established stylist. With seven years’ experience, Fidan has developed rapidly throughout her career in hairdressing. Born in Turkey, Fidan is crazy about all things hair and a little crazy in general in the best possible way! She oozes personality and works creatively to deliver your hair goals.
Known for her ability to create a long term goal with clients, Fidan is open and honest about what your hair can look like over time and always puts the health of your hair first. She has completed the balayage course with industry educator, Katy Grimshaw as well as completing the Nano Keratin Specialist course and becoming a Great Lengths UK Tape Extensions Specialist.
Natasha Broadbent
Natasha is another of our House of Hair Established Stylists with ten years’ experience. Having recently returned from maternity leave to start a gorgeous family of her own, Natasha is delighted to be back in the salon and working with hair again. She currently works part time on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 3pm and all day on Saturday. Natasha is our cool, calm and collected stylist who is a fabulous listener whilst quietly working away on your tresses.
Rhi Kettlewell
Currently in the second year of her apprenticeship with us at House of Hair, Rhi is on fire with her training! Joining us at just seventeen years old and having never worked in the hair industry before she has flourished and is now a member of the Fellowship Clubstar. With an intuitive nature and bundles of self-motivation, Rhi already has regular clients as a result of her incredible colouring skills. After attending JOICO’s conference in 2020 Rhi has big dreams and we can’t wait to help her achieve them!
